Thanks! That's what I'm looking for.

Only one question though. If it was you and the guys, wouldn't it be more appropriate to use the 82q for the beer? 50q just doesn't seem like enough storage :D

On board water with a custom built water tank, Deep cycle batteries, 2000+ watt pure sinewave inverter, solar panels, radio with water proof speakers. Everything in the trailer on heavy duty slides for easy access. I'm powder coated the box a matte silver, all the suspension matte blue like the truck and the rest will be black.

I'm sure I'll find more I want to do but that's the short list right now :D

Are you going to hard mount the panels to the trailer?

No there is nowhere to do that. That's why I'm going with thin panels I'm going to store them in the tent when it's folded up.

Oh right. For some reason, I was thinking those were solid.
I like your idea for storage. Sounds like a great idea for the flex panels.

I unboxed my panels today to check them out. They look well built and they are about 1/8" thin! I don't have a controller yet so I can't hook thanks up to rin some tests. Once I get a controller I'll hook them up and run some tests to see what I'm getting out of them.

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
And which panels did you get again? Nevermind. Middle of shift at night.......guess I scrolled right past it.

there's actually a "how it's made" episode segment just about how they build the teardrop trailers.

they use corrugated aluminum for the walls and the top, it's pretty cool, lightweight, and not seriously process intensive to make (if you have the room and fabrication skill).

wrt to water storage, i'd consider getting a sort of plastic balloon reservoir tank for the truck bed. then whenever you go to the lake you can haul water back to camp and dump them into the stationary reservoir by the trailer.

Well this thread hasn't had any updates in a wile but it will soon. The trailer is back in the shop getting the final tweaks before i rip it all apart and powder coat it. I did get a chance to use the solar pannels on a pig hunt last month and they worked awesome! The battery was on float by 10:00 am every morning and i was runing lights, the 82q ARB fridge 800w inverter charging things. Its just what i wanted just keep my battery topped off for long trips.

I did get a chance to work on the trailer on Staurday and came up with a bad ass design for mounting for the tent. Two words linear actuators! pics will be coming in a week or so :D
