tire size on 2010 tacoma

    does anyone know how big of a tire size i can fit with stock suspension on a 2wd toyota tacoma access cab . i was thinking of getting 17" rims and 265/70/17 tires . i read on another forum that this is the biggest tire size i can fit on this truck with stock suspension . can someone please help me out thanks .

    It's true. That was the first thing I did to my 06 when I got it. I'm still running that size but with a 2.5 lift

    When you say 2wd, are you a Prerunner or a 5 lug? I know you can fit the 265/70/17 easily on a stock Prerunner. Hell you can fit the 255/85R16 if you use the stock wheels and that's a 33.

    If you are a 5 lug, I'm not sure if you can fit the same tires as easily so I don't know what the max size is.
