Been having this weird problem with my 2014's head unit. Sometimes, when I've been out driving for a while, the display will actually flicker. Sometimes it will go black, sometimes it will flicker to the backup camera for a second or two, then it goes back to audio. The audio is never interrupted, just the visual. Took it into Toyota today, its still there, but they said that the head unit actually seems to be getting signals that the truck is in reverse when it isn't. Anybody else run into this?

Noise induced on the can bus ?? Or perhaps a bad cable connection / ground shield?

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Somewhat common problem, needs to go to the dealer.

Got it back. They're working on a fix with Toyota apparently, so they'll let me know when they figure it out and have me bring it back in.
At least I'm getting free carwashes :)
