Hey y'all. My name is Matt. Brianr sent me here to ask for recommendations on tires. I have an 09 PreRunner SR5 with the stock tires. I am looking at Hankook DynaPro ATM P245/70R16's. Living in Kansas I drive in all sorts of conditions with an abundance of dirt roads. I do drive 40 miles to and from work M-F on pavement but the weekends often involve dirt roads. Any advice, things to look for, knowledge you could drop on me, places to look for knowledge, etc I am all ears.

    Thank you.

If it helps at all I've ran Nitto Terra Grapplers and BFG All Terrains and liked the both of them. Sorry, no personal experience with DynaPro tires.

BFG AT is an LT tire so overkill for OP but those are great tires. I went from 245 Dunlop to 265 Dynapro and won't run another tire if I can help it, for P rated ATs they're awesome.

Unless you are going out and doing some insane crawling over sharp rocks and tree stumps, you don't need an LT tire (and even then, you can still get sidewall punctures). A P rated all terrain is all our trucks require.

The Hercules Terra Trac A/T in either the original or "II" flavor can be had in a P rating for pretty cheap.
