Horn (Claxon) not working 2012 Tacoma

    Hi Guys!

    my 4x4 double cab Tacoma 2012 lose the horn. It started sounding intermitently, then only sounded when the steering Wheel was turned all the way to left or right. at the end stopped, is not working anymore.

    the horn itself is ok, because the panic button of the key activates the alarm and the horn works.

    The Toyota dealer in my area, Puerto Vallarta Mexico is not trustable. they said it was the spiral cable. is the spiral cable responsible for the horn sound? how difficult would be change this cable? (I would do it, because the local dealer is extremely untrustable) Do I need any special tool?

    If the spiral cable is damaged the dealer was responsible because they fixed a gap the steering wheel had and then progressively the horn stopped working, after they fix the other problem.
