Looking for opinions on people who have/had WARN lights. I put the WXT 400 HID driving lights in the front bumper and now my second set have started to go out. The first set got condensation in the "sealed" lamp housing and started to make the reflector tarnish and turn the chrome a dull gray color. Since they were still under warranty I called and they sent me a new set, but didn't tell me any precautions I should take with the new ones. I put the new ones on and about 2 months later noticed condensation in one of the lamps. Called them and they told me it was getting condensation in them cause I don't use them regularly. Their solution was to use them regularly and the heat generated would evaporate the moisture inside. So for the past month since I called them I try to turn the lamps on every day to and from work to heat them up, which hasn't not stopped the moisture build up. Today I came out to see that one lamp is no longer firing up and the other is starting to flicker more at start up. The got these through my old job discounted and they are no longer under warranty. When I called to get a replacement it's going to cost $600 for a new set. New lamps cost $100 to replace them but not sure if the lamp or ballast is bad. Also don't want to spend $200 for them to just fog up and go bad again when the last set only lasted 3 months which I find it down right ridiculous something that expensive only lasted 3 months and they won't help since the warranty is out.
