I'm trying to figure out what size box to build for my current system setup that is on the way. I've got an 08 Reg. Cab and I'm going with a single 10'' Pioneer Premier Shallow Mount (TS-SW1001S2 is the part number at crutchfield.com).

The sub requires 3" of mounting depth, and .35-0.7 cubic feet in a sealed box and 0.5-0.7 cubic feet in a ported box. More than likely, I'll be going with the ported box.My question is what dimensions should the box be ? I'm not good with math at all and the conversion charts I've found only confuse me more. :der: Anybody have some suggestions for box size ?

I need to know specifics in inches if possible. Please enlighten me.

    Also, with a 4ohm woofer I can run a 4 channel amp correct ?
