I just came into possession of a Sundown SAE1000 and then a SAZ1500. If anyone has good experience with the Sundown SD series, will the 1500 be fine on them or too much? i tend to listen to my volumes pretty high. I may use the 1000 to break them in, then upgrade to the 1500.

SA series is RMS 600 watts per sub. The SAE1000 is a bit under power for 2 subs. Where the saz is 1500watts. I'd go with the SAz1500 and start slow with very little gain and break them in. Then start pushing them a bit at a time and you'll find the sweet spot. It's a bit more power than what it needs but if you don't go crazy with the gain it will be just fine.

    the 1500 should be fine,
Clean the signal clean and you shouldn't have any problems
