I go in Monday to meet with service manager to review the parts that come with my frame replacement and pick up my loaner vehicle. My question is what else should I replace.

I will reuse my HD leaf springs that I just put on new last fall and will probably do new shocks all around. I would like suggestions from the Tacoma mob on what else I should consider while they rebuild my truck around a new frame?

I heard that as well, what else should I do even if on my dime? Coil over springs upfront? My truck has 212k miles on it.

It wouldn't hurt to do shocks/struts. I will be having the dealer put on my OME kit if they allow it. I was told the other day that they would when I was there getting my headlights installed.

I swapped in a new suspension last year. New carrier bearing & u joints 1.5 years ago. Pads & rotors last spring....the only thing I can think of to replace would be the differential fluids!

So the dealership just called and said the frame won't be in until January and they want me to bring back the rental car they put me in because toyota won't pay for a rental for that long of a time period?

I need some thoughts on how to respond! I call bullshit! If it was to dangerous to drive a week ago, why is it safe now?

I'm doing the clutch and rear main seal while its apart. Doesnt particulary need a clutch but I had 130k and figured better safe now than wishing I did it later.
