I normally do not have to post a question, im pretty good at searching and this forum 9 out of 10 times has more than enough information easily found. I am having a hell of a time trying to find which damn U-Joints i need to buy to replace the old ones on my 2001 2.7L Regular cab 4X4.

Most threads discuss the symtoms of a bad one, a few go over the better brands to use, but none appear to specify which ones to use. Each of the 4-5 sites i have gone to list multiple model numbers even after i put in my vehicle info:

    http://www.summitracing.com/search/...ngine-family/toyota-4-cylinder/drivetrain/4wd

    http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/search/?searchType=global&N=0&Ntt=2001+Toyota+Tacoma+U+Joint

    http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1432865&parttype=2392

Best i have so far is Moog 285 and or 387. Called my local dealership, they wanted $90 a piece, preliminary research shows that is steep.

Thanks in advance for the help, whether it be a link, or more info on which to pick!

    P.S. Referring to driveline/shaft, greasable.

I went to Moog s website and it came back as the 285 as well.
