"Alternative Locker Mod" - couple questions...

    The same shit everyone else has.
    After doing some research, the "alternative locker mod" seems to be the way to go versus cutting/splicing/and using a DPDT relay (cleaner, easier to return to stock)

    Ive been wanting to do this modification for a while now, but finally just got around to doing the research.

    I have a couple quick questions though...

    1. Will this work on a '11 TRD Off Road? Or is this one of those things that is hit and miss and only works on certain year trucks?

    and

    2. I just want to verify I have this correct -

    Add a wire to the existing the top left slot on the plug for the ECU (yellow/black wire) > on/off switch > ground



    Seems super simple.

    Any insight?

    I have a 2011 and it worked perfectly. I have mine wired to a switch mounted in the glove box.
