I have a 03 Tacoma Reg Cab 2WD, my current tires are shot and going into winter I really need new ones. The current ones are actually a passenger car tire(came with the truck when I got it) and even at their peak condition never did that well with snow(even with weight in the back) Being 2WD i want something with more of an agressive tread, plus I have a tendancey of working this little truck excessivly(trailer towing, larger loads) so I would like more of a truck tire. Talking with the local tire store here, I have come up with two possible tires that are available in a size that "should" fit on the truck. They are as follows:

    1. Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S
    2. Cooper DISCOVERER A-T3

Has anyone had experiance with either of these that can offer a suggestion. Any other suggestions of other tires that may be better would be also appreciated? I do like the aggressive tread look of these, but I would prefer performance over style.

    Thanks,

    Don
