Nothing like a 20K+ truck rolling around on a no name set of $400 tires from a dealership that cares.

If they put them on the truck I doubt they will be helpful.

I have zero experience with their automotive tires, but some limited experience with their commercial offerings, and that was all positive to be honest. If you're still uneasy, try to work into the deal that the dealership replaces them with tires of your choice.

Tires had a bad vibration at highway speed, they rebalanced and still vibrating pretty good. So dealership agreed to replace with better set of new tires but service department was closed by that time. So not sure what brand they will put on yet but I bought a new to me Tacoma.

Never heard of those. They look good enough. I have the feeling that the dealership is going to just slap on some Dunlops and be done with it... Been reading too many bad dealership posts on here! I'm sure everything will work out fine, best of luck!

Wait a minute! There is something missing from this story.

There are so many bad dealer threads on this forum. So many bad outcomes.

Please tell us what you might have done differently in handling this dealer, to get such a fantastic outcome. Any theories are welcome.
    Congrats!

Ok I'll start from the beginning.
I had been looking for a Tacoma for about 6 months new or used and decided on used so I did not have to go up in payment too much,
I found this 2011 one owner which had been serviced religiously at the same dealer where it was bought with the 62k miles. The add said new tires, breaks ect. So I made the 80 mile trip to drive the truck. I got there and it had these cheap sailun tires on it first thing I said was not sure about the tires. Then we took it out for a spin at 70 there was a very bad shake so I told them I wasn't sure and walked away. As always I told them you call my wife and talk to her about pricing ect and if the numbers work out right we might take it if the shake is out of it.
See the thing they didn't know is my wife is an attorney and a damn good negotiator, so I stay out of that stuff. So they came to an agreement after a couple heated exchanges and finally got price ect worked out. With the understanding that service would get the shake out and make us happy or replace the tires. Second test drive was not as bad but the cheap tires kept getting squirrelly above 60 so the sales guy said no problem. It was 8pm when we signed papers so there was no guarantee of what kind of tires. Three days later the service manager called and asked me what I wanted one the truck. I was easy going about it told him something a/t he started out saying cooper I told him that would be fine then ten minutes later he called and his tire guy gave him a deal on Michelin so I jumped.
So in the end my attorney got me the following:
    Just under 26k price
They certified the used truck and gave us and extended warranty out 7/100k
And got new tires on the truck. All of which will last longer than it will take for me to payoff the truck.
Over all the dealership Modern Toyota of Winston Salem,NC was very easy to deal with and the salesman was Nivan if you ever need one.

    Right behind you. NY
    Vehicle:
    18’ F150 SCREW LB 3.5 EcoBoost
    Bilstein 5100’s (x4), 275/65/20 Cooper XLT AT3’s
Those look like a sick snow tire option. I've never heard of them but the tread pattern and siping on them seem like they would work very well. Looks kinda similar to the Cooper ATP and Hankook ATM in a way...

I had a set on my f-150 and they were awesome. Snow was never a problem gravel rds and a bit of lite mud no issues. If your like me I go off road very little so they are great. As soon as they put them on the truck smoothed out no shakes smooth as a car. No road noise I was going 70-75 solid as a rock. Those other tires when you got above 60 and you were fighting it.
