I may want to take you on on this for a quick night. It would be Friday July 18th. I would be passing through on my way to Montana and wouldn't need to set up camp for a short stay.

The trails may close but there are roads that are still open. A good place to go snow wheeling would be Boles Canyon Road just over the Wyoming state line outside of Newcastle. The road starts in Wyoming then weaves back into SD. Another good road to ride is on the Wyo/SD state line. I think it was called State Line Road, or something like that. There may have been a gate on that one though for winter closure. These are both roads though so you don't need a OHV permit. It is remote and very rough with big ruts. I didn't get a chance to explore it all the way since I was by myself with no winch. You will be able to find these roads on the Motor Vehicle Use Map that is free from the Forest Service.

For the east side there are the Bearlodge Mountains in the Black Hills National Forest outside of Sundance.

Yeah I've always wished this thread would have more action so we could get a meet up or cruise going.

You could also make a thread on the normal buy/sell area and then drop a post on here giving the SD guys a heads up. That way this thread doesn't get cluttered with buyer/seller back and forth convos. A simple "hey I'm selling...." with a link would keep this thread relatively clean but still get SD guys looking at your FS items. Feel free to correct me if there is a different moderator preferred method.

Generally there will be a thread in the regional discussion forums that is used solely for buy/sell. Look in the CO forum. There is a thread titled "Colorado Trading Post" which is used for this very reason. The problem with SD is that the Tacoma following is slim to none, so the regional forum is pretty much non-existent. A great example is how long it took for this thread to get bumped again... You could try and start a buy/sell in the Midwest Forum, where most of the SD stuff is located.
