I have about a grand in cash to do a few upgrades. I just picked up my truck today from a private seller and went straight to Exaust Systems Hawaii and installed a Borla cat back exaust. Single out. My question is With $1000, what should I spend it on for upgrades? Level it? Intake? Running boards? Replace slightly damaged bumper? Bug deflector? Tint? Sounds? So many things I could do but I can't decide which one.

I like that idea. Level with Bilsteins 5100 front and back? Because I have the sr5 and not the TRD I was thinking I should upgrade the shocks all the way around. Good idea?

FWIW I anticipate my suspension swap in the spring running me about $1000 for new rear leaf packs and Bilstein 5100s all around. Leafs are the expensive part, so if you leave those stock you'll have some left over for other purposes.

Double cab doesn't have too many options as far as adding a sub. What did ESH charge for the exhaust?

for mall crawling, get the 5100s for the front... only replace the rears after you install the fronts and feel that the rear is too loose.. (install yourself)

you can replace the front speakers and get a good amp to power them for under 200 if you can do the install yourself... thats all you need, if you want that boom drop another 2-400 for a sub+box+amp...

that puts you at about 600 spent

next go for some tint and throw the rest on tires

Toytec has a the front and back for $350 or $199 each. They are also advertising a 10% Black Friday discount but it is currently not working. I was looking into getting this for starters.
