I'm not sure why Tacoma world does not promote Trail Gear sliders. They are one of the toughest sliders out there. I think they are very good looking and the price is very good. They come raw and you have to drill to mount them. They are at 0 degree, so they stick out far enough if you bumped into a tree the sliders would stop before hitting your door.
I had them on my FJ and had Trail Gear on it.
No I'm not from Trail Gear and I'm not getting paid for saying this.

I also have the tg sliders and their fitment is awesome, very subtle. Pricing was good, shipping was extremely fast. Definitely recommend

This was one of my first mods i did to my taco back in 2005, and i have beat the ever living poo out of them. I finally dented one 2yrs ago, and i dropped 5ft down onto a rock and almost rolled the truck. They have been rusting like crazy due to my crappy painting, but have held up great in their intended use which is to protect the truck and not look good. Its not even worth building your own at the price they sell these at, i could not be happier!
