Really thinking of going URD on my 2009 4cy but she's at about 90k. Am I too late? Or will she be able to handle it?

90k should be fine. All depends how you treat the truck, how much boost you plan to boost, keeping up with the maintenance, and the type of tune you give it, preferably a conservative tune.

I would personally put that money towards a down payment on a new one..but that's just me. S/C on 90k miles seems a bit high to me.. :notsure:

I would do it. You put a lot of work into the truck that you have now. You would be starting from ground up with a new truck.

According to URD, the tune that comes with their kit is pretty conservative.

90k seems high to me too that's why I'm asking.

Hmm.... if you had a V6, I'd say "you haven't even broken in your engine, so go for it". But 4cyl has to work a little harder to get that truck around, so I don't know what kind of life you'd expect to get out of the setup.

Try get in touch with Gadget. He's probably seen some high milage 4 cyl that installed blowers and would know if they had problems after.
