A rock hit my hood and gouged the paint down to the metal.

What's the best way to fix it?

I have one day until I'm gone for a month with the Army, and then not much more before I deploy.

Need to get something done ASAP.

Bad thing about dark colors, every imperfection shows. Good news about dark colors, touch up works pretty good.

I would order the OE, MGM touch up kit. And a separate universal clear coat on top. You will still notice the touch up, but it will be nearly unnoticeable to anyone else.
