I don't really drive my Taco as much as I used to, and it was time for new tires, so I decided to go for some Blacklion rubber. I was planning on getting 225/70/16, but I got a deal on these 235/70/16 because they were in stock at my local tire dealer. I asked him if they were decent tires, and he said yes. I trust him because I have been buying tires from him for almost 40 years now. So far they are fine, going to put a few miles on them this weekend travelling for Thanksgiving. With a tread wear rating of 700, these might be the last set of tires I have on this vehicle.

I just put about 700 dry freeway/highway miles on them, & so far everything is good. Quiet, comfortable, held up to some 80 mph blasts without coming apart. No complaints for now.

Just watch out, I heard those Chinese Torres don't have dot numbers on the sidewall and therefore aren't legal. Never looked into it myself, but that's what I heard from a coworker who got tangled up with some.

I just looked at these tires, they do have some DOT letters on them. Seems like an easy thing to fake if they wanted to, but I think they are legit.

I can't speak for Blacklion but I used to have Runway tires on my Tacoma. Runway tires were manufactured by Giti tires which is supposed to be one of the largest tire companies in the far east. The tires seemed to be OK tires when I first got them but I saw evidence of them wearing awful quickly. I ended up replacing the Runway tires with Michelin's and then selling the Runway tires on Craigslist.
