I no longer have any idea WTF the numbers on the backs of the Infinity's and BMW's mean. According to the infinity rep, they don't know either.

Toyota is doing nothing really big. Just adding comfort "touches" to their line.

    Lamborghini is bad ass.

    Smart hasn't done anything

Mercedes has made some of their cars more annoying

Audi is stepping up the performance a bit, with more power across the line, and a sizable increase in price of the R8.

VW is slowly putting the foot controls under the center console.

The Dodge line is getting more features, and comforts, along with more power. The Power Wagon gets the 6.4, and is pretty nice.

Ford is still Ford, but now wraped in Aluminum.

Chevy/GMC now has the Canyon/Colorado, which........isn't that impressive. Just like a shrunken Silverado, but with more hard plastic.

Hyundai/Kia is about the same, but has the new 900, wich is kinda cool, but you still cant figure out the dash controls.

All around, the biggest noticeable difference, is that manufactures are switching to LED interior lighting, which is cool in the higher end cars (Audi, and BMW for instance), while the lower end cars (Chevy, Kia, etc.) have pretty dim LED's. Dodge, and Chevy/Cadilac are going to full LED dash displays, and are fully customizable. The Nav screen is in the middle of the speedo on the Chevy's, which makes it small.....and stupid.

Porsche is still kick ass on the 911 series cars, but not quite sure WTF they are thinking with the "SUV"s they are making.......Kinda trying to make an SUV for the Nurbergring......

Otherwise, in review of the girls demoing some of the cars, Mercedes took the win. HOT GIRLS!!!!!

Chevy found theirs at a truck stop, or local alley.

Infinity's didn't know what things were

Hondas was talking into a mic that wasn't turned on

The BMW chick, was a dude

The chick from Cadillac dam near slammed my hand in the hood of a CTS-V

The Lexus chick kept pointing out that the "Opening in the front of the car, is for allowing cooling air to pass through the radiator....."

The 2 gals for Dodge had FUCKING AWSOME Blue eyes......and....I don't think they spoke.

The chick from Scion kept trying to sell me a Bamboo pillow.....(WTF??)

    Now.....The food:

When I ordered a bottle of water ($1.29 at a local store), and got ass rapped for 4 bucks, then saw the "soft pretzels" for 10 bucks, and the 5 dollar chocolate cookies (Which you can get a corner store for 59 fucking cents), I was OUT!

Otherwise, Not a bad show, and I had a good time:)

I hate those shows...most people don't know what they are doing over there! I was told this morning that I have to go to Japan for 4 days to tour some Toyota plants - hopefully they now more....

I was at the similar show at Tampa a few weeks ago.
Pretty much the same experience as Chris. Most girls did not know much about the cars they were showing (but it did not really matter, because that's not why they are there).
Some cars were pretty cool - all the new electronic gadgets, but I get cold chills just thinking about how much can go wrong, and then entire electronic circuit boards will have to be replaced...too much for me.

I was mostly interested in the trucks. What got me was that most had only one cab configuration, and several of those same ones, instead of a variety. Why would that be? There were 3 Tundras, all double cabs, no crew cabs. 2 Tacomas, both double cabs. 5 RAMs, all the same size crew cab - no Mega Cab or any other configuration. You would think the purpose of the show is to show their different products.

I test drove a Chevy Volt. Kind of cool.
