A hole in ya is still a hole and id rather have something that is easy to get back on center quickly than a hand cannon. That and 9mm ammo is cheap(er)

Nice choice. I have the xdm 9. I love it and will never get rid of it. Full frame or compact?
 I do a tac shooting league and regularly beat gyys with bigger caliber ( size issues I guess :notsure: ) and cops with tricked out glocks. Im on target more then them. I have a more reliable firearm. Well and like alex says. A hole is a hole. If someone points a gun at you and starts firing are you still coming at me?! Nope. Especially when 20 rounds are possibly coming your way.

Check out some of the studies the fbi has some recently. Their switching back to 9mm because the difference is negligible. They can get more shots off on target faster and more accurately. Shot placement is key

That probably helps control it for sure especially since you can hold a full size frame comfortably. I still love shooting my 357 mag though

    Yep

Sub compacts can be nice. I loved the g26 (sub compact) i shot a while back but the 19 (compact) was just about the perfect size for my hands. Shot a Springfield xd9 5" was pretty nice too but it failed to eject like 4x in 2 boxes of ammo
