safety recall 05>11 taco rear suspension

    anyone get a letter from toyota yet? apparently a part in the rear suspension can break and possibly cause a puncture to the fuel tank. i did not get a letter yet, just read about it in the paper. involves 6xx,xxx trucks in the above year range

    I received a letter notifying this recall. There is no fix yet. Still waiting.

    I installed a 1.5" AAL six months ago, dont know if that will be a problem or not. Will they replace the leaf pack?

    Stock now, but planing on upgrading audio system, proguard rack, rear work lights and tow hitch.
    just went to dealer for other recalls. they would check leaf packs for breakage and would replace free under interim recall. if no break found they would charge $60 labor for inspection. they said several months for full to come through with replacement part#. I decided to wait for full recall to come through.
