Any real issues ? I'm asking because there seems to be more tire options in that size and it's only 1 inch taller tire than the stock tire . Oh any opinions on falken wild peak at tires ?

It's close but they do work. I don't have the mud flaps at the rear of the front wheel well, but the front ones are on there. I'd say there is about 3/8" clearance between the tread and the UCA at full lock. If you want more space to fender, you might consider a leveling kit. The back is perfect.

I can't find the clearance to the front and back of the fender on my photobucket but here are a couple from my recent switch to 265/75 R16 tires.

Not all 265/75r16's are there same size. All will fit, some will rub. They vary in both width and height. The Falkens don't seem to get very good reviews but are no doubt better than stock. Tirerack.com is a good resource.

They run close - I've got toyo open countries. Its a really tight fit, and i often wonder if id have issues with sharp turns on bad terrain, but for day to day driving I have yet to run into an issue.

I have the 265-75-16's BFG KO2's on my 2011 TRD OR. My truck is completely stock with all mud flaps and does not have the higher sitting TSB springs.

The tires don't rub on anything. When people run into rubbing issues with this size tire they are running an aftermarket wheel or wheel spacers. Or like what was said are running a brand that runs big for it's advertised size.

I have a 2009 double cab TRD 4x4 and recently switched to BFG All Terrain KO in LT2657516. Tires fit with no problems, no rubbing anywhere. Only negative (other than how expensive the tires are) is slightly worse gas mileage.

Do you actually get worse mileage with that small of a switch, or are you not compensating for the larger tires in the miles driven?

I have seen a reduction and compensate for rotation. The KO2 tires I put on are 53 lbs versus 38 for the tire. That's 40% more mass.
