stock coil side question

    I think you got it. I see a red mark on the rear of the coil.

    It has to be the drivers side, the sway bar is on the left side of the photo, if it was the passenger side the sway bar would go underneath the truck on the right side of the photo.

    Glad you figured it out.

    im about to be installing some tacoma coils on my 4runner with 5100's and wanted to make sure i put them on the correct side. did everything turn out looking right?

    before i read this thread i never notices the colors, i went and dug up some old pics. for whats its worth, the oem on my 2006 pre-runner sport, if you look at the bar code on the oem billstein strut, both are tagged on the 2nd and 3rd coil with yellow spots. wondering if sport has different springs than off-road? and if that means the 2006 had identical springs, before they discovered the lean? make a good episode of "Unsolved Mysteries" decoding the secret codes behind the springs :)

    just an observation and input to add to the stats
