    Thanks. We just updated the front area by the deck to make it more like a garden. I don't have a picture yet of the final result. This is a shot of the area before we changed it.

    It's mostly ground cover with a few Status Plants. Status is nice when it's blooming but it looks like huge lettuce plants when it's not. Plus we have a ton of it throughout our yard.

    My wife's been wanting to fix it up so it looked more garden-like. We went to a nursery looking for more avocado trees but they were having a sale on rose bushes (2 for 1). So we bought about 20 white rose bushes and about the same number of boxwood plants. She also bought some smaller white flowered plants. We tore out all the status and the ground cover, turned the soil, laid down some landscape fabric, planted all the plants, ran water to each rose bush and some small sprinklers to cover the other plants. Then we covered it all with Vigoro brown rubber mulch from Home Depot. It took about 36 bags to cover it all.
