Heading to Northern Tool in a little while to pick up a full size Axe and shovel. Looking for ideas on how and where to mount them. Ideas?

Clean out of the way and hidden would be mounted to the bottom of your tool boxes.

Under the tent, mounted to the rack on each side. Makes it so they're not a PITA to get to.

That seems like a good application for induction. I've used some portable units. Maybe it was just those particular induction burners but they didn't have the fire power of a regular restaurant burner. However, you probably wouldnt want a 25k-35k btu burner in an rv.

Well I just went through pretty much every page and I'm no where near the level that some you guys are at with your rigs. I don't wheel very much but I do a lot of recovery both at the beach live close to and where ever is needed. In a way I'm planning if I ever do let go of this truck I'll be donating it to the search and rescue fire department in the county I live in. I'm probably most proud of my bed rack I had a member (colinb17) make for me about a year ago now. This thing is solid and I'm getting some great use out of it. I have a job where I'm not home very often but this job has also let me financially do pretty much whatever I wanted to do to a certain extent. Plan on doing a lot more soon. Input is always welcome so tell me what ya think.

New addition to my build, bed bars from Relentless Fabrication until I build a full bedrack and a Tepui Kukenam Sky. Just picked it up yesterday in Santa Cruz, pretty stoked to put it all to use.

Nice David! Looks awesome on your truck. Glad to see that the pick up at the shop worked out. Hopefully that was a pretty smooth situation. Thanks again for the order!

Yep it went great, the older co-owner gentleman gave us some tips for a smooth install and setup/teardown. I ended up going for the anti condensation mat once I was there and saw what it was. Thanks for going over the details with me over the phone!

Thanks guys, I'm super impressed by the quality and design. Hoping to get some better pictures of it in the wild haha.

You have only $50 to spend on something overland related. What would you buy?

Other than fuel...probably a tire patch kit. Speaking of which, I think it's time to move that from my "wish list" to my shopping cart on Amazon haha.

Tire patch kit is definitely an essential. The ARB on in my opinion is priced incredibly high for what it is; I picked the Trail Gear equivalent up at a store in Anchorage a few years ago - and it's served me well since.

Spend the remainder of $50 on this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Aeropress-Coffee-and-Espresso-Maker/dp/B0047BIWSK

    It'll change your life.

    And finally:

Inexpensive LED flashlight. But, it's bright as hell.
