    Hi guys,
From my research, I have concluded I could mount 285/75r16's on my stock TRD 16 inch wheels, using 1.25" Spidertrax spacers, and bashing down the pinch weld. I have no mods on the suspension.
Does anyone run with this combo? Does anyone know of any other rubbing issues?
The other issue mentioned is 1-2 mpg less on these size tires.
Or should I just stick to 265/75r16's??
    Thanks for any advice.

I haven't personally done this, but I don't think you can fit a 33" tire on there without some sort of lift. Unless you did some serious cutting...

buddy runs 1.5in spacers with 285/75r16's and still rubs the cab after the cab mount chop.... and he runs flares in the front to clear everything including a bent over pinch weld.

You will likely pop the stock fender flares when you do any sort of flexing in the front.

IMO stick with 265/75R16's unless you REALLY want to deal with 285's

Or get a 3" lift and spacers?
