Hey everyone, I have an 06 TRD Double Cab with a 3" OME lift (including Icon UCA's) I currently have the stock 31 inch tires and I want to increase my tire size. I would like to have minimal trimming, I was thinking 285/70/r17's would work. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what kind of tire to buy. I live up in Canada where there is snow on the ground for a large part of the year, so preferably something that does okay in the snow. I spend most of my time on the roads, but I do venture off road a fair bit. Thanks.

Any idea of a shop that would carry these? Or a good site to order from?

    Canadian Tire? :notsure:

Not sure what you guys have for tire places.

Te Cooper ATW is basically a winter tire. I would be best for winter but not ideal for off road use.
I would imagine it's a softer compound as well and would most likely wear quicker.

100,000 km warranty. All terrain tire with improved winter handling. It's a Cooper tire so there's still a warranty and you can buy it through any Cooper distributer but it will be 25% more expensive.

I'm not a big fan of Canadian Tire either but they carry all the good tires in addition to their own garbage. It it's balanced right, that's all they are needed for.

This tire has the same snowflake as the BFG and Goodyear AT's but this one is better in winter and still a good year round al terrain tire.

I've had good experience with them so far and would recommend them but to each their own.

I have the same lift. I am running 275/70R17 Goodyear MTRs. I need to trim but have not yet. Currently have my winter set on.

MTR's. They are great in the snow.
Not the best in the mud. But eat show and rock and never look back.

but in all seriousness this is the tire you want for daily driving that is tough, decent in snow for an all season all terrain and still works well on the trails. i have them in the 285 and love them so much i just ordered some in the 255 size for my other rig
