What will the 2016 Tacoma pack for power?

try 25hwy 17 city, 22 combined.

 

My bet is they are going to go for less horse power and less torque in a inline 4cyl to make the G standards and maybe go aluminum body for weight and not do shit to the inside and stay with light colored interior we hate why everyone else has black. And I'm going out on a limb here but 95% of this forum will not be happy with the out come of the new 2016 Tacoma. I am really hoping Im wrong, but I remember a statement from a article with the head of Toyota saying, "we are not going to be putting a high horse power engine in the Tacoma". After January 12th we will see the future of Tacoma and the possible value of older models to hit a record high value. But If they put the diesel engine in this model it will be a hit.

 

I heard an LS9 will be shoehorned Into it.

 

Well coming from a guy with an I4, if they make it any more anemic they better stop offering the DCSB with it, at least in Prerunner form, unless they plan on dumping a few hundred pounds of weight off of the truck somewhere.

Also heard it's multi fuel. Can run on diesel, E85 or JimBeam. Saw it on a YouTube video, then the video was deleted for having unauthorized background music by Taylor Swift
