I would have posted this in tcBob's sticky, but it's locked.

    2013 SR5 dbcb 4x4

Given what I'm looking for and what my truck will do, I'm pretty convinced the tire I want is 235/80R17 (either ST MAXX, Duratracs, or Grabber AT2's, not sure yet).

The sticky mentions that the largest 17" that can fit on stock is 265/70. Using the calculator it looks to me that the 235/80 is pretty close - but I can't say for sure. The 235 is obviously thinner, by 11%, but also 6% taller.

Anybody running this size on stock? Any trim issues I could expect?

    Thanks.

That's larger than the 235/80 in just about every way, so I guess I'm good to go!?

What's the worst that could happen....

Bah. F it. I can't find any 6 on 5.5 wheels that would even fit tires that skinny. I like the idea of expedition-like, road-efficient wheels, but oh well.... 255/75/17's it is!

    Suspension first though.
