I've got no issues with my bed. It hauls everything I need.

I wanted the DCLB with manual tranny when I bought my 08 and it was not an option, I guess it still isn't in '15 . I still purchased the DCLB, I need the LB!!

Its funny.. where so many say the LB looks weird, the SB looks weirder to me. having the wheel well cut off right at the cab looks really strange, and compared to the cab, the bed is just too short.

But, i look at it this way, i am glad we have a choice. Unlike the first gen, where you had to take the ackward looking SB if you wanted a DC, like it or not.

    cheap spacer lift for now
The long beds dont come with a manual, and there is no way i would buy a toyota that's an automatic.

Way more weird. I didn't want to insult anyone's truck (and to each his own) but I just think they look goofy, like two trucks pieced together out of spare parts. When they're lifted and tricked out a bit they look better to me but overall, just not my thing. I guess it's a common style now in a few brands. Guess I'm in the minority.

I had an access cab before and honestly besides my Kayak's sticking another foot out of the back I haven't found anything I can't haul in the 5 foot bed that I could haul in the 6. But my kid sure fits in the back a lot better. A lot less rattles in a double cab too due to the lack of those somewhat useless suicide doors. I've had about a dozen other toyota trucks too with the regular 6 and a few with 7 foot beds. With the tie downs and pockets I find the tacoma beds a lot more usable in general.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
You probably could if all you did is off road with them. Pavement is what kills mud tires in a hurry.
