A friend had a ground hog problem. One ground hog was making holes everywhere and was too reclusive for my friend to get close enough to shoot. I had a couple boxes of 100 grain (if I remember right) rounds in 270. Had bought them for no practical reason that I could think of other than they seemed really cool. Screaming fast. Went over at 4:00am had a couple cups of coffee. Quietly snuck out at first light and there the little bastard sat at 200 yds. He was looking ready to run. Smart little thing. At a fast sitting position shot at its head, which was the only thing I could see while I was sitting and I missed the first shot. But the frikken shock wave partly stunned it! Allowed me a follow-up shot which got it.

Just make sure you seat the back of the mag before you click the latch into place, it will cause feeding issues otherwise.

The same shit everyone else has.
Welp. We shot a box of shells through the gun on Sunday. After getting it sighted in it was shooting dead on.

She loves the thing. It fits well. She can work the safety and bolt with no issues. I thin itll be a good deer gun for her.

I was surprised with how loud it was.

    Follow up.

On the last Friday (12/12) of rifle season, she got a pretty nice size doe right before dark -

1 shot, at about 120 yards off a bi-pod. Severed the deer's spine and dropped it instantly.
