    Here's the deal...I like the looks of some of the small TRD emblems and think they would look nice on my truck, BUT, my truck is a 2014 regular cab 4x4 base model. Obviously, it does not have any sort of TRD package on it.
    So, I know lots of folks put TRD stuff on non-TRD trucks...is it silly or acceptable?? Let me hear it.

    Lot's of stuff (-;
    IMO its a bit over priced, and theres better parts out there. With that said my trucks a TRD, and I like to roll a bit stealthy so I removed all the stickers.

    I don't get why someone would do this, but like he said ^ its your truck so who cares what people think.

    I see trucks on the road all the time with TRD stickers and SR5 badges. I am assuming this is the same sort of situation, ppl put on the TRD stickers after. Kind of confusing, but like others said it's your truck.

    I have the "09" access cab 4x4 base model, and like you I really like the emblems, however putting them on my truck would only fool me, I just can't do it. BUT I will not "Raze" you if you do it, as others have said,, it is your truck, jmop

    Not sure why anyone would put the stickers on a non-TRD truck, aside from trying to trick a potential buyer. But if you are going to do it to a base model, I think you should at least put one TRD part on your truck like the TRD exhaust or something.

    All trucks start as SR5, TRD is an upgrade package, hence why you see both badges.

    I would feel strange doing it as the truck is not a trd. It's like putting a v6 emblem on a 4 cylinder. But again its your truck and you can do whatever you want. That being said, I have a trd and like the decals.
