    I have a 2012 tacoma 4dr 4x4. I just ordered a 3" lift kit Bilstein 5100 adjustable coilover part number TTHA-CK.

I'm planning on running a 285/70r17 with aftermarket wheels.

Do u guys see any problems I might be running into with this set-up?
Will I need to order the wheels with a certine back spacing or order spacers?

I'm new to the "toy" world, have only messed with Cherokees. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

    enough to go over stuff
285s will rub stock ucas on stock rims. You need aftermarket rims or aftermarket ucas. You could do wheel spacers but it will increase the amount of trimming required to fit the tires.

I don't want to trim if I can keep from it. So what's the best way to go?

What he said 265/70/17s or 265/75/16. To fit my 285s with a 3 inch lift. I cut and rewelded the cab mount, cut out some of the fender liner, folded the pinch weld, and trimmed the bottom of the fender.

Will I have any issues with 17" wheels? Should I get them back spaced on not?

I have 4.5 BS and was able to fit 265s and 315s but I'm running a 16x8 (not that a 17 should be much different).

"Raptor Style" grill mod, aftermarket wheels, 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Authorities, TRD Shoulder pads on seat belts, no mud flaps, AVS Hoodflector bug shield *removed*, Dee Zee Ultrablack Bull Bar w/ license plate mount, dipped my fuel door for no reason, N-Fab Spare tire mount w/ full size matching spare, dipped eyelids onto my headlights for no reason, dipped my hood for no reason
I'm running the 265/75/16's and had to remove the front mud flaps and trim some to reduce the rubbing.
