Hey looking to do some camping soon, but I wanna go somewhere new and unique. I am new to sacramento so I don't know any trails near by, anyone have any good tips? Nothing too extreme, my truck can do medium terrain..
    Thanks in advance!

Barney Riley Trail out of Markleville is a nice trail for a close to stock rig....good camping and fishing in the Carson River. Kind of under a bunch of snow right now though. Also Deer Valley Trail off of Highway 88 near Blue Lakes is a fun trail with nice camping....it would be all white about now also. Great area is the Gold Lakes area near Downieville....lots of fire type roads, old mines, great camping at the Gold Lake 4wd Camp at the back of Gold Lake. Our club used to put on a Poker Run up there, awesome area with miles of trails and beautiful area. Camp, Fish etc....
