Hey y'all it's been a while for me getting on here. So I do apologize. But my tacoma is all black minus the chrome bull bar and stock head lights and tail lights. Wanting to do some mods for black or smoked for those as well as maybe fog lights. Any advice? Best brand? Quality? I had some halo projector head lights that were ruined so I'm still iffy on these things.

I have the spyder auto smoked LED tail lights in mine and I really like them, had them in over a year no issues at all.

What kind of halo projectors did you have in? I'm assuming they were aftermarket already built like spyder auto or something like that and not a real retrofit. Aftermarket headlights leak, have less light output, and fail eventually. If you want the best of the best then do a retrofit or buy one if you have plenty of cash to spend. Increased light output and you can essentially black it out completely. Retrofitting isn't too hard to do yourself if you don't want to drop up to around $1000 on already built head lights from another member on here.

Another option would be to do black head light mod, much cheaper.

As for fog lights, I don't recommend tinting them unless you want little to no light output on them.

I've been debating on taking a set of stock headlights and blacking them out myself. The issue I had was moisture got into the housing and caused the halos to go out and then the light itself went out shortly there after. The fog light I was thinking with a bright driving light. Not to concerned on those being smoked out other than to match the headlights. But that's has become a secondary concern since I was able to find my stock headlights. On Saturday I will be installing my new bilsteins.
