So I was wondering what the preferred tire psi is for running on the sand?? I'm running 33x12.50's on 15's... got me a new ARB compressor so I'm good to go, just need to know how low to go??

Another question....I have an ARB in the rear, I love it but....I live in a snowy climate and have learned that in most cases if its super slick or slimmy traction the locker can do more worse than good. Especially on those out slopped roads or trails. A lot of times its good to not have that other tire digging or spinning but rather being stationary and still setting "on top" of the driving surface, not dug in like the other wheel. So my ? Is, locker or no locker on the sand????

Thank bud!! I figured it'd be the way to go. I've had some nightmare situations with that locker engaged on hard pack snowy roads. I will never own a non selectable locker because of those situations. I've also had some similar experiences on some snotty muddy out slopped roads. In those situations its best to be one wheel peel so you keep tracking straight and not going with gravity ya know....

Yeah for sure, but you think all the quads and dune racers they all have both tires spinning, the key to the dunes is speed and momentum.

Ahh for sure....hitting em up tomorrow. I've drove around on flat sandy beach type terrain before without a compressor so I stayed full psi and its always been my DD since its a "trip" to the dunes". But I brought my built taco this time and am really looking forward to exploring into the dunes themselves!
