Not really. I said I want the flatbed portion. Not the tool box portion. So it'd be flat. Wouldn't be up high like his is.

Well, the Dakars had some arch in them when I left this morning. Six hundred miles later, not so much. With the load pictured on the last page the Dakars are pretty much flat. Guess I'll need to give Alcan a call when I get back.

Or..... I'll link the rear. :luvya:

I ran Timbren's for a while myself. They work well for what they are.

Well, I haven't bottomed them out yet, but they do move a good bit on the road. The timbrens could be a good solution for a little while, good idea. We'll see how they react on the trail shortly.

Um... The truck bed wasn't loaded in those pics. I don't think I've hit the stops yet. It's wet out so the marks on the strike pad, if any, aren't visible.

Put the truck on the scales. Myself and my dad were in the cab along with probably 100lbs of stuff in the back seat. The toolbox is loaded, but the bed is empty.

Except that the gvwr includes your cargo capacity. I subtracted out what the weight of the cargo and came up with a weight of around 5600lbs. I need to find the curb weight of a stock double cab to see what the real difference is.
