Got a question about switching add a leaf. I currently have the single AAL from Pro Comp on my factory leaf pack. I'm looking to upgrade so I'll be switching to the Icon Mini Leaf pack.

Is there any issue switching from one style AAL to another? I would buy a whole new leaf set, but shipping a pair of leaf springs to puerto rico is not the cheapest thing in the world.

    Thanks!

u wont have any issues taking 1 aal out and installing the icon, I did the same thing.

The supplied U bolts are plenty long enough and MASSIVE IMHO.

Ok awesome, would you say it was worth the upgrade? How did the icon pack ride compared to the old AAL?

Can't speak for the progressive AAL but my guess is that it will ride a heck of a lot better than the single AAL. My Dakar pack with the D29XL unloaded rides a million times better than a single AAL.

Night and day difference for me. I never realized how bad the ride was with the single AAL until I made the upgrade to the 3 leaf progressive. I also changed to the Icon 2.0 non-resi rear shocks.

    Well worth it......
    Night and day.

The icon is so much more compliant.

I think the max on my tires is like 70 which would be absurd. I'm running 35 psi currently.

So this would be a better spring pack than stock TRD? I'm looking for a little better hauling/towing but don't mind a little firmer ride when empty. Looking at their HD pack.
