30K Service for 159.00 today..

Never taken my Tacoma to dealership ever, I have 175k miles. I’ve done routine maintenance along with spark plugs & front brake pads twice each. My biggest gripe would be waiting and sitting for it to be done if I did take it in. Plus I’d rather keep my money.

Filters, (all) syn gear oil (with 6spd), motor oil, and plugs labor (my own) NAPA partsmy cost $211. So for $159 there is no way they are doing a full 30K service.

 

Agreed .... but the scumbag dealers want close to 80 bucks for oil changes these days so from that perspective it is not a huge rip.....but bad enough!

Same in my area, but only for the required 0W-20W used in 5th Gen 4Runners or any others requiring this weight.

2nd Gen Tacomas - 5W-30 - can use conventional oil - should be less than $80.

one hour for labor plus parts so $100 sounds right to me. Changing plugs on a Tacoma is a piece of cake. Not surprised that some dealers would try to rip people off for this service.

 

I must be getting old.....total was 142.00 with tax. Even tho I had a coupon for 159.00.....
