    Hey gents/lasses,
I might be getting a Taco in the next few days. The trans in my 01' Honda Civic blew out again (piece of shit. went out the first time at 108,xxx mi and then again at 145,xxx) so im not dumping another $4k into that.

Im new to owning a truck. I did a lot of research and found that the Tacoma has what i want.:)

I searched around a bit and found a 2010 4x4 double cab for $21k. The only setback is it has 98,xxx mi on it.

So im curious to know what you guys think about that kind of an offer.
I read a little bit about the 2010's having some trans problems. TSB 0393-09 i guess is the problem. I dont know much about it.

Im in kind of a screwed position right now in my life. I start a training course in two weeks and need a vehicle that is reliable bc im going to be driving about 600 miles a week for 3 weeks. Then my job will probably require me to do that kind of driving regularly.

So any input would be great! These trucks look pretty good according to consumer reports magazine.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You know, you could almost buy a new one. In your case a 4 cyl, 5 lug automatic would be perfect.
