Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
I'm installing my stereo system and due to the Flowmaster exhaust that my truck came with, my cab is pretty loud. I spent a pretty penny on some good quality speakers and want to make the most of my dinero so Im going to Dynamat my cab. Does anyone know the actual sq. ft of the cab ? including doors, floors, ceiling, and ext.cab area, back panel and sides. Dynamat sells one package with 72 sq. ft? is that overkill ?

I have a 100ft roll and only have about three or four revolutions left before I run out, probably just enough to finish. The doors are the only thing left for me to do.

Just FYI, this won't fix any rattles at least in my experience. Thought it would, but it didn't. I'm probably just going to find a way to actually fasten the plastic down, instead of relying on these cheap clips.

Go to the above for the lowdown on this topic. You are on the right path but only have one piece of the puzel. Lots of good info in the stereo section of tw also.

I only put mass loading stuff on my panels and it significantly reduced the noise. It's obvious that the doors are missing matting because that's basically the only place loud noise comes from now.

The doors and rear wall of our cabs are very resonant.

Raamaudio is where I went for my deadening solution. They have a kit there that is $120 that will do all three, plus some.

    Huge difference.
