Hey guys, I've been experiencing a bit of "takeoff shudder" with my new suspension. Its between exactly 0-15mph, pretty hard sometimes at 0-5, then slightly again at 10-15.

    Things I've done so far:

    1. Replaced the carrier bearing and U-Joints for good measure
    2. Tried the CSB Drop (with washers), no luck
    3. Reverted CSB Drop after the new CSB was installed, no luck
    4. Alignment redone
    5. Tires rebalanced at a professional suspension shop

Here's some additional info that may help. 07 DCAB, Front Billys set at 1.75, OME Leafs with 3rd leaf removed.

It definitely feels like the rear is what's causing the vibration. It almost seems like the new springs are a little stiff and just not absorbing the takeoff (that probably doesn't even make sense though). It definitely started after the new getup though.

I can post any additional info you guys need.

    Thanks in advance!

I experience the exact same shudder with my stock 2013 (3+1 leaf), so I'm not sure I would blame your modifications. But it's odd that it didn't do it before....

    Thanks for the input man.

I actually changed my rims and tires from 20" rims to 17" rims and things are A LOT smoother overall. Still get a very small shudder from 0-10 ish but its minimal and I can live with it.

I'm pretty sure those rims were warped because they were definitely corroded and wouldn't hold air reliably, I had to fill them back up every other week or so.

The damage on them was not my doing though, it was like that when I bought it..

You can try axle shims to angle your pinion up a little. I had some vibes when my truck was stock (around 20 mph) and the lift and cb drop actually got rid of it. Now I just have a very slight shudder at take off. Slight enough so no one else can feel it, but I can.
