So I've been wanting subwoofers for a while now. Just the prices I've seen were 500$ -$1000 for peoples used set ups. I have a good friend that will help set them up for me so I won't be using money at a shop for installation. I was just looking at sub boxes on ebay and Amazon when this popped up.

Its roughly 240$ for the amp and subwoofers. I think this is an amazing deal. However, there is only 1 review made(though its 5 stars). My questions are:
-Anyone currently running this set up?
-Do I need a specific amp to run two 10" subs?
-If this amp is good enough, will it fit in that little space between the subwoofers and still fit behind the back seat?

If anyone can provide some good info that would be greatly appreciated.
    -K

The sub box looks okay for a drop in. Kicker subs are not the greatest, though.

And I wouldn't touch that Boss amp with a stolen dick.

Sub box is okay, the rest is garbage. Certain things you just can't go cheap on. Lifts, wheels ans tires, and tunes. You get what you pay for though, good luck.

    Hello,
The sub box is the same my brother got for his ride. The problem with this box is that the back of the box directly behind the subwoofers are hollowed out and covered by 1/4 plywood to increase the mounting depth. Eventually, the epoxy used to glue the ply will give out. I repaired my brother's box using 5/8 mdf for the back panel 2 weeks after install.

If you are not in a hurry, there are better boxes out there than this one costing not much more. Supercrewsound's box is way better than this (no hollowed out panel if you choose the standard mounting depth).

On another note, those Kickers are a disappointment. Powered by a decent JL audio amp, we gave up on these woofers because no point of EQ can be done for them to sound decent. I have an Alpine SWR T10 single sub that bumps way better than these two, no contest.

    Just my experience. Godspeed.
