    take it down, heat up your soldering iron and reattach the thingy. Problem solved.

    Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    If the sensor is bad, your ECM will start jacking up your engine control. The sensor ties to the Canbus comm network. It controls engine functions as well as talks to the mirror display. There is a plug in the headliner that may have come apart too. When we swapped my '13 mirror into my '14 there was no Canbus plug and my mirror reads --- just like yours.
