    Hi,

New member here and wanted to ask a newbie question and if anyone can help that will be great. I just purchased a 2007 Tacoma trd. I have 245/75/16 tires and not used to it from driving my sedan. when I'm driving 50-60mph my rpm does not go over 1000-1500 rpm. is this normal or do I have a transmission issue. any info would be great. thanks in advance

You may just have a tach issue. Put in on a dyno and see if your tach is malfunctioning.

    Manual or Automatic trans?

And don't have it put on a dyno to check the tach, that can be done with a scan tool or photo tach for a small fraction of the time and cost.

I would think that's correct with an auto. Your RPM's go up when you step on the gas to accelerate right?

    That seems about right.
