I recently became an owner of a Red 2004 Toyota Tacoma, TRD package included, manual transition, 92,000 miles on it (almost all in town) with a 2 inch body lift.

My goal is to give it all the oos and awws, and while i'm at it take care of the little cosmetic things that are wrong from the previous owner.
I am working on blacking out the grill and the chrome grill guard (whatever its called lol). I'm not sure whether i should take the time to paint them myself, or just go buy a new guard that's in black; any opinions?

Next is a bed liner. I have heard of Herculiner, and i'm wondering how hard it would be to correctly apply the liner with the weather as moist and cold as it is?

And last for right now, smoked out headlights and tail lights. I've read a lot on the doing it yourself kinds of products, and I honestly just don't want to take the time and ruin what i have by trying what has worked for others. Any suggestions? If i were to buy them already smoked i was told to get the brand Spyder?

    good lucking truck. welcome aboard.

i would avoid smoked headlights and go for a set of OEM headlights with black housings.

painting your grill isn't too bad. just prep it correctly. if you have the money to buy a OEM black one, do it, it'll look cleaner.
