    Greetings from Central Texas

I started riding dual sport a few years ago and mountain bike shortly after that so I knew my next vehicle would be a Tacoma.

    I have a Kawasaki KLX250

My dad got a new 4Runner back in '85 and still had it in 2004 so I knew Toyota was the way to go for dependability. I had no idea how versatile they are or how many options there are for mods and upgrades. I had been looking for about 2 years and knew I wanted Pyrite Mica. I was waiting for the right deal on the right truck at the right time. That time came a few weeks ago and so far I love it.

It has virtually every option I needed except wheels and that's proving to be a tough decision because there's so many options! I know I want black and will probably have to do a mild lift. So far I've added Husky Liners, Bed Extender and the DRL mod but installing the switch is proving to be a bugger. Look forward to seeing everyone else's builds for ideas.

Down south here, Slaughter and Manchaca area.

Need/want a truck, and a taco is the right size for these narrow streets. Only the Austin city council would think making regular lanes narrower to put in a bike lane that no one uses is a smart idea. I almost got flattened by a dually Ram who extended over into both lanes on either side. Really?

Anyway, nice truck! It's the perfect size for Austin.
