Trying! Weather and bumpers haven't been cooperating all that much.

Rear bumper really didn't come out as great as I thought it would. Ohwell... Learning lessons. I should have done the rear bumper myself. Waited to get some time learning to weld and spend some time with it.

Hoping to at least get the front bumper mocked up, holes aligned (holes bigger) and primed and painted.

I need to spend a lot more time with the rear bumper to at least get it somewhat better...

Its nothing super major. Ill take pics of it after paint.

The wrap around portion that got welded on the passenger side looks pretty good. Driver side wrap around looks a bit to far angled down for my liking. But the bumper could definitely take a beating to it will do its job great. I little more grinding and sanding and i think it will look pretty good though.

However the front bumper looks amazing, love that thing!

Not the best pic but here is the driver side kinda angled to far down for my liking

    IMAG0455_zpsjqmpeih6_a61c24f10753e16cf35de546f2191f8e0e5f5dc5.jpg

Passenger, if driver looked like this I would be happy

    IMAG0456_zpsy7i7bclz_989f71be0a1367a591f048097a32cb67609e5e3e.jpg

Ill get better pics of what im talking about later.

Id also like the gaps between the body and wrap around to be closer and more uniform but I dont mind that all that much.

It's pretty good man. I think that isn't uncommon with aftermarket bumpers as a whole. My front droops a tad but it is good enough :) no one will look that close but you!

got mine on the other day, yours looks good!

can you get your spare tire down or is the bumper too high? I had to shim the bumper down with washers to give enough clearance to get the rod in there for the spare tire winch.

you could also shim the left side bottom bolt (1 or the 2) to get the bumper to change angle a bit.

no prob, i shimmed it just enough to get it in there and its pretty tight, i didn't want to go too low with the bumper so a lil bit of shim and trimming of the sheet metal above will do as well.

Started painting the small pieces to get an idea on what the paint would look like. Turned out awesome, love how it looks and I cant wait to lay it down on the front bumper. Thanks Cory for the paint suggestion! (Orange peal effect went away after it fully dried)

    IMAG0459_zpsnpzvhlvs_d2f6e9631a83ea8364952fe269bb02652384ec33.jpg

Also, the person I had do the rear bumper must have used some really aggressive flap disc because there were huge scratches throughout the whole bumper that i'm possitive would have shown up in the paint so I went over in in 60 grit flap disc and then rounded it out with a 120 grit orbital sander. Corners and edges look great now and the bumper looks a lot better. Going to paint the rear bumper before the front. Hopefully friday.

Man that was a rather abrasive flap disk they used, maybe it was an abrasive disk? Anyways you're making a ton of progress!!

Im not sure, I think they might have just been lazy with sanding down the welds and wanted to get it done quick and did it with something that erased it in the first pass. Im not sure, but its all good now.

I definitely wish I would have done this bumper myself, I think it would have turned out a bit better. Lessons learned. Starting my welding class soon, and for the final project I might try my hand at making a rear wrap around bumper so I can make everything the exact way I want it.

No, haven't started it yet. I waiting to get all my lights in then do it all at once. I also am pretty confused when it comes to wiring but my father really understand wiring so hopefully I can learn a thing or two when we decide to tackle the whole project.
