So I just got my truck back from the body shop, and they have put some type of oily and greasing looking stuff on the the interior dash, plastics and steering wheel. This junk reeks to the high heavens and looks terrible as well. I'm not sure if it is armor all or not but it appears to be similar to it.

I've already tried warm water and detergent but that doesn't appear to have done much. Does anyone know a good way or some product I can use to get this stuff off?

Start with a simple cleaner like Windex. If that doesn't work then step up to rubbingalcohol. The 91% stuff will take off anything including rain-X off your windows

Would the rubbing alcohol not damage the plastics?

I'd make them remove it. You didn't ask for it, correct?

Windex should do the trick. Thats where I would start. Then simple green or a citrus based cleaner.

Yes, but due to certain circumstances the body shop is 2 hours from where I live, and will not be back in that area for several weeks. They also have air bubbles in the TRD sport sticker they had to replace as well.

I'll go pick up some simple green tomorrow.

White vinegar and water will do it and won't leave a residue or smell.

I'll try this before buying simple green as I have some vinegar laying around. Is it a 50/50 mix or does it really matter?

Doesn't really matter but I always use a little more water than Vinegar.
